I will start by saying that I am NOT an avid Nando’s frequenter due to it’s ridiculously overpriced chicken and chips.
However, when it comes to healthy ways to spice up your meat, vegetables, eggs, whatever you like, Nando’s Peri-Peri sauce is a winner. And you can get it from most supermarkets so it won’t mean trawling through millions of health food shops and breaking the bank.
I recently stocked up as they were reduced to £1!!! in Seven Sisters Tesco’s.
A low-sugar, no-carb option available in a variety of spice levels to cater from the weak tongued to a concrete mouth.
It is a mere 14kcal per serving and theres less than 69kcal per 100ml.
I use Nando’s Peri-Peri “Hot” sauce in my eggs in the morning!
It speeds up your metabolism using birds-eye chillies and is free from preservatives, sweeteners and any other hidden crap.
Basically it ends up in almost all of my meals including salads as it’s a much healthier option than oils or dressings which often contain nearly 300kcal per serving.
So if your looking to remain trim whilst smashing your protein and veg get on the Peri-Peri.
