OMG, last night “Clam Jam” @ Dalston Superstore was OFFTHAFUCKINCHAIIN!

A fully queer crowd filled the dance floor as Bica + Cathal (Packin C) delivered dirty batty bass beats! It was impossible not to drop into a squat and rub your rump on everything in sight: including all people, drag kings, sexy girls, DJ booths and Italian men.

Soda and Lime’s were all that was necessary to fuel my happy machine and keep the whole club stomping.

This is simply the most refreshing night off I have had in a LONG time.

Recently, with the ensuing gentrification of Dalston, Superstore has been threatened by culture tourism and disrespectful clientele misunderstanding the purpose of the venue. Last night, however, proved that with careful door vetting, nasty tunes, and fearless queer vibes, Superstore can still be one of the most vibrant, exciting, and queerly comfortable places in a town that is doing its best in making this task a fucking nightmare!

SO, if you get it, get on down to CLAM JAM! Rub yourself on a speaker, find yourself a girlfriend, boyfriend, gender non-conforming friend and GET YOUR LIFE in one of East London’s staple Queer Homes!
