Q. Alex Petch, your photos are making us all sex wee…who are you and where did this gift come from?

A. Sex wee! omg. I guess that’s better than a sex poo right? I’m a London based fashion & portrait photographer and I cannot disclose any other information.

Q. Up or Down?

A. Always half way

Q. Smile or Frown?

A. Don’t be sad because sad backwards is das and das not good.

Q. Swim or Drown?

A. I do enjoy a breast stroke.

Q. Sexy Clown?

A. Send him my way.

Q. What is your weapon of choice?

A. Nikon D800, until I can afford a big grown up camera.

Q. What do you look for in a subject?

A. Eyes that catch the light well, that’s always what draws me in anyway.

Q. Are there any fun lighting tips to make us all look even more gorgeous?

A. Natural light! Windows and backlighting always make a great portrait.

A. My favourite night out is “Debbie”, a monthly night in Bethnal Green where they play a lot of Stevie Nicks and she’s all I really care about.

Q. What is next for Alex Petch?

A. I’d like to start doing more of my own personal work when I get time, start using film again (which was completely ditched the minute I moved to London for Uni 😦 ) and take pictures that will keep me inspired!
