THOUGHTS
Yes we are all free to our opinions and Giorgio Armani certainly has an interesting one.
He told The Sunday Times Magazine:
“A homosexual man is a man 100 per cent. He does not need to dress homosexual.
“When homosexuality is exhibited to the extreme – to say: ‘Ah, you know I’m homosexual,’ – that has nothing to do with me. A man has to be a man.”
As the internet is an open forum…
My response to you Giorgio would be:
“Why can’t people dress how they want to dress? Whether they are homosexual or not, whether they are a man or not. Are we not free as individuals to explore our own ideas.
Or should we be confined to the typical definition of Man? Whatever that is (see “Man-Up” essay).
And what to you is too homosexual? What constitutes how a man dresses? Which part of your statement is loving and which part is condemning?
Just a thought.”
