POEM
Indulge me do for a minute or two…
…Pillars sky high, Black white and gold. Marble.
Parchment scrolls with my word in gospel told no longer hold me down!
Yes, I will be so bold as to dream and see the vision.
If life is to dish such a poor game then surely there is a payoff?
Surely with all the balance in the natural flow of natures things my journey with more brings.
To reward me with extravagant delights, the rights to transatlantic flights in the finest of class. A standard surpassed beyond that of the crass.
I don’t play on level grass.
Unfurl infant of me the fantasy no longer but realities stream instead.
Finest cotton Egyptian thread on my bed.
Glass case cabinets, candles ceiling to floor with signature scents to represent the feelings spent on a lifetime of worth.
A feeling I have had since birth.
Deserved to the level of what one can appreciate.
Comprehend a manor so dear.
No longer sigh but demand God play me the winning hand!
Abundance angel serve me don’t swerve on another route.
Send me the cash to boot on my green velvet doors matched against deep mahogany veneers.
Bright lights in glass acrylic frontiers and towering glossy black front doors,
leading to iron raw bannister rails hailing up granite stairs with an ivory grand at the foot.
Sunday brunch piano plays. Days of serene uninhibited expression supreme.
Deep rich red apples succulent on display like the cartoon depicted array of witches delight.
Glittery licked drips trickle over milkest white sides. Breakfast provides the finest waking affair. Coffee steams away despair of the nights confusion with silver spoons, teapots and runes like treasure gems.
Crockery so placed to ease every move, visually delighting, plighting happiness to the eyes of those in the aesthetic wise.
Grant me be the boy with all his toys and more. Open the door. God me adore.
